MyOn Madness (February 6 to April 14)
- Do you know what MyOn Madness is? If not, ask your child. MyOn Madness is an opportunity for student to read the books available on MyOn.org. We are asking students to read at school but we ask parents to please make time for your child to read at home too. To access MyOn, go to bit.ly/clever62 and then enter your student’s Google login information.
UIC Forum
- Our first Parent Forum took place last Wednesday, February 1st at 2:30 p.m. Thank you to those parents who attended. We will have another Forum on February 15 at 2:30 p.m. The next Forum will provide opportunities for parents and teachers to collaborate on best ways to increase communication between parents and school. Be on the lookout for a flier with more information that will be sent out early next week.
Online Registration for Returning Students
- After thoroughly studying this topic, District 62 will do Online registration for returning students. The benefits of introducing an online registration system are: Making registration more convenient for families, streamlining the process and time committed to the manual entry of student registration data, creating more accurate and updated student information systems, and automating invoicing and simplifying the fee payment process. Online Registration will officially open for families on Monday, March 27th. In April, there will support open houses in different schools for parents who don’t have access to internet or don’t feel comfortable registering themselves. NEW and Kindergarten students will use the existing paper registration process. For more information, go to bit.ly/62registrationinfo
