Notes from the PTSO
- Thank you to everyone who participated in the Sam’s Farmers Market and Potbelly fundraisers last month to help raise money for student programs!
- Chipotle (7020 N Mannheim location only) will also be hosting a fundraiser to support Plainfield/PTSO on April 17 from 4-8 pm. If minimum sales are reached, 50% of proceeds will be donated to Plainfield/PTSO. All funds stay at Plainfield to help pay for assemblies, field trips, and other programs for our students. Thanks in advance for your support.
- Family Bingo Night – The PTSO is hosting our first Family Bingo Night on April 27 at 6:30p. Admission is free and drinks and desserts will be available for purchase. We need more volunteers in order to have the event. Please return the volunteer form or sign up on the PTSO’s website.
- Carnation Sale Fundraiser – The PTSO is holding a carnation sale in cooperation with Pesche’s for delivery before Mother’s Day on May 11. Carnations can be purchased for $1.25 each. Extra order forms can be printed from the PTSO website and are in the office. Orders and payment in full are due April 18. Thanks for your support!
Class Dismissal for Students in Grades K, 1, & 2
- Starting next week, we will have cones to indicate where parents need to stop to pick students in these grades. Kindergarten signs will be placed first, followed by first grade and second grade signs. We hope that this change will make dismissal time safer and give you, parents, more guidance on where to pick up your child.
